Lovely unit but confusing pricing

We chose this location for its proximity to family. It is a quiet duplex in a quiet neighborhood with friendly neighbors. We enjoyed our extended stay and think, with a few improvements, it would be a great rental.
Krystyna was always very reachable and responded quickly, both before and during our visit. She knew all the quirks of the appliances and was very accommodating and helpful.
The unit has been redone in a modern aesthetic and was very clean. It has a spacious living area, large master suite and comfortable beds. Furnishings are maybe too spartan, though. Common areas don’t have enough seating for everyone. Dining table is bistro-sized and crowded with 4 chairs; remaining guests must eat at the counter. Solid internet signal, but advertised office space was just a small, wobbly table and desk chair. Very dim lighting throughout - advise BYO light bulbs. More outdoor lighting at the front of the house would be helpful.
Pricing structure felt more complicated than it needed to be. It’s a whole house rental, but restrictions and up-charges make it awkward. You aren’t supposed to park in the garage and you will be billed a surcharge for each guest after the first 2 people (note this is on top of what VRBO’s reservation calculator adds when you specify 6 guests). All the details are in the listing, so be sure to read carefully and ask questions.
