Upon arrival, there was old coffee left in the coffee pot. The pool was not jump-in ready as it was dirty, but they did have someone come out the next day to clean it (Sunday, and normal cleaning days are Wednesdays). The rooms were clean. It was odd to have the owners living on the property as I did not see this information anywhere in the listing until after we booked it and arrived (the posting was taken down after we booked until we were there). I felt like I was intruding when doing laundry because you share it with the owners. There was only once when I went to use the laundry and it was in use, and one time there were items left in the dryer and felt awkward removing someone else's items. The owners do have dogs but there was only a few times that they barked and we could hear them. The grill is not usable, as the bottom is missing and anything on the grill would leak onto the propane tank. Once the pool was cleaned, it was enjoyable. The owner was kind and accommodating, answered chat in a timely manner. Looking at photos, you would think that you could have a fire but no wood stocked and the back yard really needs to be mowed/cleaned up. The property has potential. I would suggest having pool cleaned and turned on the day that people check in so it can be enjoyed the whole stay.
