Undergoing major renovations but the work in the new rooms were not up to par. Brand new floors but painted after the floors were put in and obvious no drop cloths, wall paint job was horrible especially around the ceiling, I used my dirty socks as skates to slide on the floors as I felt dirty after my shower and used dirty towels to put a trail from bed to bathroom to walk it at night without touching the floor. The halls and dining floors were so disgusting. My daughter is home schooled and couldn’t find a quiet place in the entire building to take her 2 tests. They kept coming in and out of the room to put in new cable boxes, then had to take pictures of its. The conference room was filled with 100s of toilets as they were installing them in the rooms and pallets in the hallways of stuff. They should have closed it down to do that major of a renevation. And the breakfast was pathetic at best.

Do not stay here!

The outside building looked nice but the interior hasn’t been remodeled in 40 years. The walls, carpet and lighting were terrible. Only 1 elevator worked and the other was a long way on the other side of the building. My mattress was awful as well as the smell. The breakfast was very marginal.

Not what I reserved

We booked a room with two double beds with me and my 16-year-old daughter and ended up only being able to have a king bed. Very disappointed. The boilers weren’t working. The showers were cold.

We had to cancell our reservation after arriving because the sheets o the be were dirty black dirty with insects in it an the rugs super dirty and also th place was under construction and no one told us before

A far cry from the original La Quinta breakfast featured boiled eggs no scrambled or the coveted ommlates you find at the Hampton The facility needs a facelift I also found it to be too pricey

Disappointing

I was extremely disappointed with my stay. I should have been notified prior to booking that this hotel was in the process of having major updating. Aside from the construction in the entrance and part of the hallway, my room was dirty. I have taken photos of the dirty floor in the room and really dirty floor in the bathroom, the mirror in the bathroom was not cleaned nor the tops of the desk. I also have a photo of a few crawling insects on the floor. My key card had to be reprogrammed four times. Very disappointed!!!!

Requires updating and upkeep. The rooms were average maintained however clean. The economic prices draws you in but requires maintenance. Good if you are looking only for a clean bed for a quick stay. Not recommended for an enjoyable family vacation in the current state of building.

Carpet in lobby area very dirty. A lot of nicks and scratches on doors and woodwork. Room was clean bed ok. Bathroom ok some staining of bathroom counter. Shower was clean. Breakfast ok, tables were clean. I’m hoping that the reason for the poor condition of this La Quinta was due to renovations that were imminent. La Quinta might have been basic in terms of its brand but I’ve never seen one that was in need of repair.

It was a good location near Busch Gardens.it was clean and personnel were nice. 3 out of 4 of us had cold showers and AC was poor air flow.

My husband and I use to come here 10+ years ago just for a quick overnight trip. Well, it hasn’t changed in those 10+ years. Definitely time for some upgrades. Carpets are stained. Tub dripped all night. Stain on the recliner. Funky smell

The floors in both the bathroom and sleeping area are so dirty, it literally made the underside of our feet black with filth. Coffee machine is also covered and filled with grime. Rooms themselves are dusty and barren looking, with old furniture. The facility in general seems rather old and a bit run down. The beds and towels seemed clean enough fortunately Upside was its a cheap stay and i suppose you get what you pay for. Locations near many aite seeing areas and restaurants which is good.
