I reserved a room online for Friday-sunday. I arrived to the hotel around 3am on that Saturday . DJ told me it was too late to check in and that he couldn’t give me a room. Even though I had already reserved and paid for it. He said I should have received a call from the hotel asking if I was going to be checking in late. I never did. No one told me I wouldn’t have a room if I arrived late, even though I had the room for multiple nights. I’m pretty sure DJ is the one who was supposed to call me. I had to keep insisting that there was some way for me to still have a room to sleep in since I am a young female traveling from out of state alone at night. And I had already reserved and paid for the room. After going back and forth with DJ and his rude/lazy attitude he finally said he would be able to fill out some paperwork to get me my room back and that it would take 15 minutes. Why was that not his first response??? His first response was to tell a young female at 3am who’s alone that he just can’t help her and she doesn’t have a room anymore. And while he filled out the paperwork he was huffing and puffing like it was the biggest burden of his night. He is clearly not fit for that job. I have never had such a horrible experience. Someone that lazy, rude, and who hates their job that much should find a new job.
