The staffat the time of check in. It is weird thatyou have to walk a long hall in order to get to the elevator. There is a very good oriental restaurant across from the check in area. The hotel is one block from the beach and there arefew shops nearby

It feels as though this hotel is just hanging on. No hot water for several days, despite daily visits to the front desk. Escalator from upper lobby to lower main entrance is inoperative. Windows in my room leaked moderately in blowing rain. Internet very slow. You could tell this was once a nice property. No more, as it needs some investment.
