Escape to our comfortable 2-bed cabin in the peaceful alpine village of Tanjil Bren, surrounded by towering gum trees, fresh mountain air, and incredible bird life right at your doorstep. Whether you’re heading up to Mount Baw Baw, exploring scenic walking tracks, or enjoying the great fishing spots in the region, this cabin is the perfect base for a relaxing getaway.

The cabin is simple, comfortable, and a great retreat for couples, friends, or small families. There’s also a fenced backyard area that’s ideal for pets, so your furry companions are welcome to join your mountain escape.

Relax on the deck with the sounds of nature, soak in the cool mountain climate, and unwind in our quiet little pocket of the Victorian high country.

As the cabin is off-grid, electricity is provided via multiple Vtoman battery power units, with one located in each room to supply lighting and basic power needs.

Please note: Some parts of the cabin contain asbestos, which is common for homes of this age. As required, we are disclosing this to guests. The asbestos has been professionally inspected multiple times and fully sealed and encapsulated with asbestos primer and paint in line with expert guidance, and it will continue to be monitored regularly. All asbestos-containing surfaces are sealed, stable, and intact.
