Tolle Lage. Total veraltetes Hotel. Kleine Zimmer und schlechte Sanitäranlagen. Frühstücksbuffet ausreichend und gut, aber Gastraum gleicht eher einer Kantine.

Hatten ein Zimmer mit Meerblick. Die Aussicht ist super! Das Personal im geschlossenen, leider wegen direkter Sonneneinstrahlung völlig überhitztem Restaurant ist sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Aber die Rezeption ist der Knaller: Schlecht gelaunte Damen verweigern Auskünfte auf kleine Anfragen in einfachstem Englisch und tun so, als verstehen sie einen nicht. Das Beste: Obwohl die beleuchtete und voll funktionsfähige Hotelbar nie besetzt ist, die Damen aber drei Meter davon entfernt sitzen, verweigern sie am helllichten Tag den Verkauf einfachster Getränke mit Verweis, sie seien nicht zuständig. Eines Abends bekamen wir tatsächlich mal einen Drink und der war ziemlich schäbig aufbereitet. In einem „4-Sterne“-Hotel ist das echt krass. Deshalb max. drei Sterne. Achtung auch wegen der zum Hotel bestellten Taxifahrten. 90 Eur zum Airport sind wegen versteckter „Steuern“ eigentlich 110 Eur. Verstehe insgesamt nicht, was diese Preise für solche Unterkünfte rechtfertigt. Wahrscheinlich allein die Nachfrage - sicher nicht der Komfort. PS: Wir gelten allgemein als höflich, draussen im Ort haben wir sehr nette Menschen, die dort leben und/oder arbeiten, kennengelernt! Deshalb sind wir verwundert über das abweisende und servicefremde Verhalten der Rezeption und hoffen nicht, dass es etwas mit unsrer Nationalität zu tun hat. Gezahlt haben wir definitiv genug.

Location, Location!!

Pros: Die Aussicht
Hübsches Hotel in futer Lage mit traumhaftem Blick über die Bucht von Mazzaro. Steand über Treppen tu erreichen. Die Seilbahn nach Taormina ist gleich um die Ecke

Très bonne étape

Pros: Le calme Le restaurant excellent
Cons: Insonorisation des chambres
Location: La plage en bas de l'hôtel. Un peu excentré mais ceci explique le calme
Très bon rapport qualité prix+ sympathie et professionnalisme du personnel. Dans l'ensemble plutôt très bien. Nous reviendrons volontiers dans cet hôtel.
