We enjoyed our stay in Taos and the Sagebrush Inn and Suites served as a good home base. Check in went very smoothly and the front desk staff accommodated us very well when we decided to extend our stay. We always travel with our pup and although there is an added pet fee, the grounds we very dog friendly with grassy areas. We enjoyed talking with the staff, especially Linda, the security staff. She told us so much history about the Inn and made a sincere effort to talk to us each day. she even told us about the doggy day care to use! I highly recommend these accomodations. I would not eat dinner at the Cantina again though, food was flavorful but cold. Breakfast was excellent and the wait staff friendly.

Building our room was is seemed poorly maintained and outdated. The bathroom floor was not clean. There were long black hairs all over it like it had not even been swept. Could hear tv and man snoring in next door room. Bedding dingy. Room dark and musty.

Setting is a little rustic but that is part of the charm given the history of the inn. Staff was very friendly and helpful and the restaurant/bar/club attached was very cool. Parking could be an issue if it is very full (as some rooms require you to walk quite a bit from the nearest parking spot) but we had no issues. Would definitely recommend and stay here again!

The bathroom window didn't have a way to be locked and was large enough for someone to get through. The side walk was all ripped up and had yellow tape around it. The lobby was dirty and the community computer was dirty.

I absolutely dislike leaving bad reviews... Our room smelled like dog pee and we had bugs in our bed. The staff was unwilling to do anything about it. I gave them the chance to make it right and they refused. Ended up staying at another hotel for the weekend, while paying full pop at Sagebrush.

Our room was very dusty like it hadn't been rented in a while. There were little dead bugs in every corner of the room and a lot of dead bugs in the light fixture above the microwave also a spiderweb on the counter in the bathroom. The carpet on the balcony was very dirty and we couldn't use the fireplace. There food seemed overpriced.and service mid level at best. We only stayed 1 night so it wasn't worth putting a complaint but since Expedia keeps asking for a review then here you go. Just being honest i really had higher hopes for this stay.
