Retreat on Harvey Street has been tastefully designed and furnished with guests in mind. Located only a 4 minute drive to town centre, and only a 1 minute drive to the lake – you won’t need to venture far to Taupo’s best attractions, activities, restaurants, cafes, shops and more.



You will be comfortable year-round with the heatpump/air-conditioning unit, wood fire, and heaters.

We had a wonderful family stay at this property, with the spa being the highlight of our visit. The spa provided a perfect place for relaxation and enjoyment, which we all greatly appreciated. The property is very spacious and offers a quiet and calm atmosphere, ideal for a peaceful retreat. It was so large that we didn't even use two of the rooms. The only downside was the heating; not all rooms had adequate heating, making it quite cold at times. Despite this, it was a very pleasant family stay, and we would consider returning, especially if the heating is improved.

Great house and location for family time!

House was wonderful. Warm, functional, spacious and the carpeted garage was excellent for the young kids to run around in during the wet days we had.Easy walk down the hill to taupo lake with a Cafe at the bottom of the hill too!View from the spa was excellent.A few improvements could be made:1) the light over the dining table would flash like a strobe when turned on so we did not use that - mood lighting for dinners and could not use the main table for card games.2) the stove top and oven seemed to be slow taking a long time to heat pans and cook simple foods like hash brown properly. Recommend planning simple foods if staying until fixed.These issues did not stop us having a good time and enjoying the fantastic space. All in a it was an wonderful time and we would be thrilled if we could book it again.
