Scenic Solitude is the ultimate Taupō escape — a tranquil haven with a spa pool and sweeping rural-to-lake views, perfect for soaking in idyllic sunsets and peaceful surrounds.



Located just a ten-minute drive from Taupō’s town centre, you’re truly removed from the hustle and bustle in a home with stunning views where you feel like nothing else matters.



This modern home will have you in holiday mode from the moment you arrive. A well-equipped kitchen sits at the heart of the home, complemented by two living areas including a media room with overhead projector. With a dining room, four bedrooms, and two bathrooms, up to ten guests can comfortably settle in and unwind.



Choose the front patio for your evening meal and enjoy panoramic lake and mountain views, or retreat to the rear sheltered courtyard. As the sun sets, slip into the spa pool and take in the breathtaking views over the peaceful rural setting out to the lake.



Although located semi-rurally, this home sits within a quiet neighbourhood and is not suitable for loud groups, parties, or events.

Bedroom 2: 1 x Queen Bed



Bedroom 3: 2 x Single Beds (can be made into a Super King on request)



Bedroom 4: 1 x Queen Bed



Family Room: 1 x Fold-out Sofa Bed (recommended for children only)



If you require the single beds to be made as a Super King bed or use of the sofa bed, please let us know 7 days prior to yoru arrival.

Exceeded Expectations - 5 STARS!

This property was everything and more than we expected. Beautiful home with everything you need in excellent working condition, great neighborhood and breathtaking views of Lake Taupo. My first trip to New Zealand and I couldn’t have been more pleased. This home is definitely one you don’t want to overlook if you are planning to stay in the Acacia Bay Area. We will definitely be back!

A perfect stay

We loved everything about this property so much so I didn't want to leave. My only problem was the couch in the lounge it was just too low. The gas fire ran out while we were there on the first night. Amazing views and the bird life, pheasants. Quails ot what you see in the centre of town. Would return

Quiet and Roomy

The location is great, it does have a pretty great view, and it is very quiet. It is still a neighborhood; it is technically rural but other houses are pretty close and still in view in most directions. It is at the end of the road and one of most private spots in the neighborhood. Would be good for a larger group or multiple adults. There is a bit of a pretentious feel to the place in spite of some things not being as high end as put on. The hot water for showers can run out with back to back showers even with only a few people trying to be fairly quick. Overall, it was a pleasant stay and would recommend it.

An awesome house for our group of two families. Very clean and well equipped, with everything we needed for our weekend stay. The kids loved the outdoor space and garden.
