Absolutely fabulous hotel. Very clean and modern. Staff were so helpful and friendly. Food was great and the facilities were 5 star. I would stay here every visit to Tavira.

The room overlooked the pool and we had a panoramic view from the 3rd floor. We did not like or agree with guests who booked a sunned by placing a towel on the bed from 8am onwards.

It was in a lovely location, very new and swish. We had a lovely view. The roof top bar was very nice as was the spa. Breakfast was good but the food we had at lunchtime suggested to us it wasn't worth eating at the hotel but there are some fab restaurants in Tavira.

Tavira Short Stay

Pros: Everything. Great Hotel
Cons: Nothing
Location: Relaxing location.
Excellent short stay trip. Great Hotel. No problems overall. Adult only hotel with good breakfast choice.

Building Work

Fifth stay at this hotel in 2 years. Disappointed this time as building work on the roof from 9am in the morning... horrendous drilling noise been going on for two weeks.

Great Location, Lovely Staff, Clean Hotel

I will be returning to the Maria Nova Lounge Hotel. We had a perfect stay, friendly staff, great variety at breakfast, everywhere spotless. The rooftop bar is fantastic & again the friendliest of staff. 3 minute walk to shops & restaurants, 5 minutes to the Roman Bridge

Nice modern hotel, close to Tavira town

A modern hotel in a convenient location. The pool area is good, though with a little more effort it could be excellent. The bar area facing the pool is not open (the other side is) and the ceiling is bare plyboard. A coat of white paint would have helped. There are weeds growing between some of the flag stones around the pool - one man / woman could sort that out in about an hour. The pool is cold and the maximum number of people I saw in it, at any one time, was eight. There were approx 75 occupied sunbeds around the pool most days. However these are minor points that don't detract too much from what is a nice environment. Breakfast has a great choice (orange juice is awful) and there are interior and exterior tables. The rooftop bar is great and not expensive. I don't understand why the hotel doesn't offer sandwiches and snacks for lunch. It's a short walk to town, but I think they are missing out. I would return.
