I enjoyed staying in the brown and cream underground hobbit-like apartment, situated centrally in Old Tbilisi and within reach of many restaurants

Private and peaceful underground retreat

I stayed here for 9 days for my daughter's wedding, I Loved the little underground retreat, it was so private and peaceful there.It was surprisingly bright with natural daylight,ample spotlighting inside and no shortages of amenities.Thete was ample hot water,great WiFi connection, unwavering and always on, all the facilities u need on holidays. I felt like part of the family and spoke to Katta (sorry if it's spelt wrong) and her son who were so pleasant and helpful to my every need. It is in the heart of the city and I could taste the life as a local and see their lifestyle in the little square where the house was. I loved the locals nearby and all their pets, the reason I chose this place, I had complete privacy and tranquility once inside and was not dissappointed.It was better than advertised.Katta was lovely,she met me on arrival and always had a warm welcoming smile and nature. Yet I had complete freedom and No1 intruded on me at any time during my stay. It is so close to Freedom square with a straight 5 min walk,a taxi ride will weave through the streets but still only cost me a pound... There has been a lot of work and modernisation yet it has its own antiquity. I hope they do not modernise too much and put their prices up,tho a memory foam mattress would be good. I would surely stay here again and look forward to my next visit ☺️
