The room we got has no window, it smells very bad when we got into the room. The hotel provides guests dark grey color towels and comforter, you even don’t know whether they are clean or not. We booked two night, but just stayed one night and ran away. We couldn’t sleep in this horrible smells room

Right across the street from the lake. An easy walk to RealNZ to pick up meet up with tour departures. The property is immaculate. It offers a coin laundry with full size machines.

We had a great stay at Lakeside Motel and Apartments, staying in a one bedroom apartment. The apartment was very clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed, which made our stay even more convenient. Parking was extremely convenient, located right by the door of the apartment. There was also a laundry facility available, which was very useful. The location is excellent, close to many restaurants and stores. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.

The property is beautifully landscaped and the view of the lake and boats very nice. We were even treated to a morning rainbow. The unit itself is very liveable, dining table, couches, nice compartmented bathroom, and beds to sleep 5 comfortably. Check in and out were easy, goodwalking distance to town for shopping and eating. The only suggestion is to put a plywood under the double matress, as it sags towards the middle. Recommened!

Staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and very comfortable - like a home away from home. The laundry facilities were excellent. Parking was easy. The kitchen area was easy to use and had everything we needed. The walk to town was a breeze. The location is beautiful and it’s a perfect place to stay if you plan to drive to Milford Sound.

Upstairs allocation was very akward for person with walking disability. No hand rails in toilet or shower (over bath). Would have preferred front unit overlooking the lake. Despite these shortcomings, the room (apart from tea towels) was clean, spacious and acceptable for three-day stay.

Amazing views, super clean and wonderful staff & owners! Can’t recommend this place more - make sure you get the lake side view! The owners went above and beyond during an unexpected power back out making sure we had hot water for a morning coffee! Will be back
