Smugglers cottage

Pros: Quiet location. Good quality, well cooked breakfast. Good recommendation from the proprietor regarding the pub next door.
Cons: Wifi booster , no signal in the cottage. Headroom restrictions information.Keep a space free opposite the car park entrance to help with access.
Location: Walking, botanical gardens, beach
We stayed at smugglers cottage not in the guest house. It was cold on arrival as there was no heating on however it did warm up fairly quickly. There was restricted headroom in the bedroom with half the bed being under the stairwell. This was awkward when getting up at night in the dark. The stairs down to the bedroom were very steep with restricted headroom at the bottom. The wifi didn't work in the cottage. The breakfast was very good with good quality ingredients. There was a very nice pub next door which served excellent food. Entry in and out of the car park was tight as the road leading into it was narrow and non residents were able to park in the street opposite the entrance way.
