With luxurious touches throughout—including a wood-fired Swedish hot tub, underfloor heating, and an EV charger—this eco-home offers the perfect blend of indulgence and environmental consciousness.



Children and well-behaved pets are welcome. Strictly no group parties, such as hen or stag dos.



The Space



Set within half an acre of picturesque gardens beside a tranquil brook, Sunnybrook feels deeply peaceful and rural—yet you’re only a five-minute drive or 20-minute walk from the charming village of Shaldon.



This UK-grown cedar-clad home has been thoughtfully designed for relaxation, adventure, and year-round comfort. Underfloor heating, powered by green electricity and an air-source heat pump, keeps the space warm in cooler months, while large sliding doors and wraparound terraces bring the outdoors in during summer.

- Premium Neff oven and combi oven (including hide-and-slide)

Every bedroom has French doors that open to the covered veranda:

- Bedroom 1: Super-king bed (or twin configuration)

- Mezzanine: Double futon above the living area

Hot Tub



A Swedish wood-fired hot tub is provided for your exclusive use.

Instructions will be sent prior to arrival. The tub will be empty on check-in so guests can fill and heat it to their preference.



EV Charging



A 7kWh charger is available between 00:00–05:00, priced at £0.35/kWh or £12 per night (35 kWh).

Delightful getaway

A really lovely place to escape the busyness of life. Quiet and no light pollution, we had amazing nights sleeps! Nicely kitted out property, we loved relaxing in the gorgeous lounge. Imagine it would be even nicer in summer! Hot tub was great though we could have done with a bit more information on how to use it more efficiently. A couple of towelling robes would have been a nice addition too! Overall a really great experience.

Six of us stayed at Sunnybrook, for 3 nights.There was ample of space for us all, kitchen amenities had everything you can think of. Could not access the online guest book, there was a hard copy at property but not sure if we missed any info such as how to work the oven but we managed it. We really enjoyed our stay and was blessed with good weather so that we could sit and enjoy the garden. Didn’t need to contact host however bumped into someone when we arrived. Host messaged to check everything was ok during stay.

Perfect long weekend away

First time in Devon and it was well worth it. The house was in a lovely location, quiet, remote and beautiful. A lovely walk down the the pubs (about 20 - 25 minute walk). All the locals were friendly and we were lucky enough to have beautiful weather. All in all 5 star weekend

What a beautiful location, and what an inspiring and comfortable home. Loved the fact that it was carbon neutral. The garden was charming and the kitchen well equipped. The bedrooms are small but comfortable. The access track is a little narrow but was always accessible by car and foot. There are houses next door but it is a very quiet area. Amazing views over the countryside and river. Thank you!
