Shower curtain was moldy. No ice at the hotel. No breakfast. Shower head not very strong water pressure. Was told the reason for a Cold shower at 7:15am was due to too many people using up the hot water at the hotel.

I was given a tiny room across the highway from the main hotel. The walls seemed paper thin. I could hear everything going on in the room next to me. Even the bathroom sessions. I will say this though, the sink and faucet were nice.

I have stayed here before, but the facility has really been neglected. The toilet didn't flush properly. The area is in a severe water crisis, and the toilet ran all the time. The deadbolt didn't work. The staff was always too busy to listen to problems. The maintenance staff always parked their vehicle outside our room where we were told to park when we checked in.

Great location for hiking in Big Bend NP. Easy to find, friendly staff, clean rooms. Breakfast buffet was great! We found the beds a little too firm for our taste and had some trouble figuring out how to use streaming service on the tv, but everything else was perfect.

Room was great! Shower was nice after a long day at the park and check in / checkout was simple. Would recommend it’s a good distance from Big Bend / town. Only wish was that there was 4 normal pillows other than that was awesome
