Das Bett in meinem Zimmer war die Hölle, als ich unter die hauchdünne Matratze geschaut habe wusste ich auch warum. Da lag einfach ein Brett und darüber die Matratze. Dies ist ein NoGo… !!! An Schlaf war nicht zu denken. Unter dem Fenster befand sich die „Raucherecke“, eine Bank wo sich am Abend die Freunde des Glimmstängels trafen, dementsprechend roch es dann auch im Zimmer. Also für diese Preiskategorie kann man wohl etwas mehr erwarten. Als ich morgens beim bezahlen der Mitarbeiterin vom Bett erzählte und auch die Fotos zeigte, hieß es nur „sowas hab ich noch nicht gesehen“.

Naturskøn plasering med tostjernet køkken

Selve opholdet var fint. Køkkenet lod lidt tilbage at ønske. Første morgen var tevandet lunkent, der bleb diog bragt varmt vandpå anmodning. Deres seelachs var maskinpaneret og paneringen var halvanden cm større end fiskestykket. Ellers en fin oplevelse.

A short but wonderful stay!

Although we spoke extremely basic German and the hotel staff had only simple English, this actually mattered little as everyone at the hotel went out of their way to make us very welcome. Dining was excellent, and service was beyond approach, and all in all we had a very happy and memorable stay.

Eine freundliche familiäre Atmosphäre trug zu einem entspannten Kurzaufenthalt bei. Die Lage direkt an der Roßtrappe ermöglicht es, am Abend ungestört und fast allein den Ausblick von selbiger zu genießen.

Schlichtes Hotel in ungewöhnlicher Lage

Ruhiges Hotel mitten im Wald - Restaurantbetrieb ist derzeit (Sommer 2015) bis 21:00 Uhr. Dort ist die Aussicht großartig. Die Hotelzimmer sind in einem separaten Haus, renovierter DDR-Bau. Dort wird offenbar die oberste Etage zuerst belegt, jedenfalls waren bei unserer Übernachtung nur dort andere Gäste, die ebenfalls alle Treppen steigen mussten.

Fint hotell med underbart läge i Harz, uppe på ena berget. Även ett av de hotellen i som accepterade bokningar som inte var minst en vecka. Finare än vad vi behövde.
