This beautiful slope side, chalet styled townhome, sits directly on Blue Mountain at the base of the Happy Valley ski run, providing ski in and ski out access to the ticket booths and lifts. The 1250 square foot multi-level unit offers spectacular views of the mountain from the living room. You can even catch a peak at the blue waters of Georgian Bay during the day and has great star gazing at night! The townhome has been fully renovated and kept in top condition. It is professionally cleaned after guests check out. The property is very private and usually quiet for this area, for those who want to enjoy the outdoors but be close to all amenities in the Blue Mountain Resort Village and surrounding towns.

Directly off the reserved parking lot, our unit is located on the second level of the Chateau Ridge condo complex. A convenient exterior private locker outside the front door is provided to store your outdoor gear.

The main floor is open concept with modern rustic decor throughout, features a fully equipped gourmet kitchen, breakfast bar for 2, and a dining room with seating for 6 - great for entertaining friends or enjoying a family dinner. The spacious living room has a cathedral ceiling and two-story bay window with an expansive view of the mountain. The living room offers a 55' LCD TV, free Bell Fibe wifi (300 mps down, 200 up). The comfy sofa and club chairs provide ample lounging space. The sofa has a queen size pull out bed and along with the window bench (single size mattress), 2 or more additional guests can be accommodated.

Up a flight of stairs you will find the large quiet guest bedroom with 2 double beds, vaulted ceiling, double-height window, and LCD TV. The guest bedroom has an adjoining bathroom furnished with shower. Up a second set of stairs leads to the master loft bedroom which overlooks the living room and has a view of the slopes through the living room cathedral windows. The master bedroom offers a queen bed, LCD TV and luxurious 3 piece ensuite bathroom. – great for relaxing after a day on the slopes or at the beach.

There’s no need to get into your car! A short 10-15 minute walk from the townhome will take you to the Blue Mountain Village which offers more than 25 restaurants, bars, shops, spa, and outdoor activities. Some of our favorite activities within walking/skiing distance include:
• The Indoor and outdoor pools and hot tubs are located at the The Plunge Aquatic Centre in the Village. Reservations can be made on line, additional charges apply.
• Hiking on the Bruce Trail - accessed from behind the complex
• Bike rentals
• Ridge Runner Coaster
• Climbing Wall
• Snow shoeing
• Skating on Mill Pond in the Village
• Zip lines and rope course
• Tennis

If you want to venture a little farther, you can enjoy a few local small and clean beaches or the world famous Wasaga beach, a variety of beautiful golf courses, luxurious spas, Bruce Trail hiking, rolling country roads, and small towns with gourmet restaurants and pubs.

We had the best stay. I always bring my own Lysol wipes and am ready to clean; however this place was spotless and I instantly felt comfortable. The beds were comfortable, the view kept us entertained, and it had everything we could need or want. Greg checked in the first morning, which was very thoughtful. We didn’t need anything. This chalet was perfectly located by Blue Mountain! Looking out the large windows at the ski hill while cozy inside was wonderful with quick access to the slopes for skiing.The kitchen had everything we needed.There was plenty of space for our family of 4 travelling with our dog, including pet dishes. It is a short walk to Blue Mountain Village where we rented skis and departed from. We skied back to the chalet for a meal, where it was easy to store our gear in the locker and then head back out the door to the ski lift. If you have your own gear, even better store everything in the locker, pick up your ski pass at the kiosk near the Blue Mountain Inn and you are on the slopes in no time!Our host Greg was easily reachable but everything we could have needed was already thought of and made for a wonderful weekend!
