The Church House: A Place of Refreshing
A historic country church house located in Shanks, West Virginia. Completely updated property includes a private bedroom, kitchen, full bath and half bath. Original sanctuary is setup as an open concept with living space, dining area and an additional two full beds.
The Church House sits in a valley on a half acre lot with room to enjoy the outdoors. The south side of the building is a nice flat space and the north side is on the banks of the North Fork Little Cacapon River where the trees provide a canopy that wraps around the building.
Nearby attractions include the areas of Sunrise Summit (which has a Burger King, Food Lion and more), Romney (which has a variety of restaurants and retail stores), the amazing Potomac Eagle Scenic Railroad and a bit further away you can snow ski at resorts like Timberline Mountain (when in season, of course)
