The Fire Alarm went of on three occasions during the night.
Guests spilled out onto the street and the hotel had no staff on duty.
The management of evacuation was terrible with many guests confused.
Staff arrived from the RAMADA Hotel ,a sister hotel, however, none wore high viz jackets or gave guests any clear instructions.
It was a chaotic situation.
This occurred 3 times.
Guests started checking google and found the Fox hotel had problems in the past.
The management at one stage blamed their fire alarm company for the second and third alarms saying the equipment reset done remotely triggered the problem.
No alarm engineers came to the hotel and no local emergency fire services attended.
It was very badly managed.
The Ramada hotel management refused any requests for swapping guests to their hotel.
The Hotel fire systems have failed before and this was not known when we booked up.
If you value your life and safety in an emergency this hotel is not for you.
In addition to poor safety systems, the hotel walls are thin and its noisy.
The corridors are more like a youth hostel.
Rooms look good and bed comfortable but who wants to go to sleep in a building with no staff to be available in an Emergency?
