Disappointing Stay
It is clear the owners of this property have never stayed here (or not in years, or else all the complaints I list below would likely be addressed). I have never had to leave a poor review such as this. The only redeeming qualities of this rental were the location on Crystal Mountain Property and the aesthetics of the rental (it was clean and looked nice). That is where the positives end. Beds were terribly uncomfortable, with no actual comforter on master bed (just a small fleece blanket that didn’t even reach each edge of the king size bed) and scratchy sheets. No AC throughout the unit, rather one wall unit in each bedroom and one unit in the Living Room (large space shared with kitchen). The Living Room AC unit didn’t work, and we were staying during a heat advisory with 90 degree temps. Both bedroom AC units were horribly loud so we had to turn off to sleep. No hot water, blinds in master were cracked and kept out no light, blinds in living room didnt close for privacy. Entry lock was difficult and took numerous attempts every time- shorten the codes. The kitchen was not well equipped - no scissors or a sharp knife set in the kitchen. There was no access to pools included, despite the listing mentioning it. No overhead lighting/light with switch in either bedroom. Terrible communication from Vacasa throughout the stay (quick AI replies, or I could call, but they were terrible to interact with and never fixed the broken AC during a heat advisory (98 degree temps)
