Close to the south entrance to the Sequoias!

Julie was very accommodating! Upgraded us to a kitchen unit. We had our own cabin. Very quiet and clean.

While the rooms are clean, chairs stained, ripped carpet, old and worn, well used rooms. Grounds are lovely, the Motel and guests deserve better..will not stay again.

Great stay.

We were greeted warmly at check in by the young woman behind the desk and the resident cat. The Lazy J is a quirky multi-unit place perfectly located to the entrance to Sequoia National Park. Our room was comfortable and very quiet. Just what we needed after a long day of travel. I would definitely stay again!

A lovely location, convenient to visit Sequoia National Park, with easy parking. Hummingbirds, sheep, goats, dogs and cats on site. A beautiful mountain and river backdrop. However, the property felt very old and tired and earwigs in the coffee machine put us off even having a hot drink. Had an apology from the owner but no offer of a refund on what we felt was an expensive stay compared to more modern, ultra clean places we’ve stayed on our road trip.

The place was a stand-alone facility which we liked. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the surroundings were absolutely beautiful. It was a little cold at night with no heater turned on yet since we were there in early October just before they turn on the heater for the season. I had some trouble taking shower in a rather small stall. But we will consider staying there again next time we travel to the area.

Loved the 'ranch'. Walked out in the field. Enjoyed the dozens of hummingbirds at the feeders. Staff I encountered were very friendly. The linens were clean. Loved sipping my morning coffee while walking accompanied by a sweet, friendly kitty. Would definitely stay again.

Excellent property near Sequoia National Park. The only issue we had was the water in the bathroom sink never got hot. Shower was fine.
