I can not answer the last individual rating question. I was aware that his hotel has been purchased by an Indigenous organization and is in the process of modernization. They have a long way to go.
1. - All electronic info including Expedia says there is no elevator. That is false.
2. - On calling the website phone number the previous hotel name appearsNow my experience
1. The heating system is 60 +
years old. Only choice is heat or air controlledhe hotel had not changed from summer air to heat for the colder months. On complaint the hotel provided a small electric heater which took a number of hours to reach a comfortable temp.
(The separate dial on the wall was broken)
2. - I stayed 3 days as the small heater was sufficient once warm enough. Bathroom was clean. Bed and bath linens were clean.
3. - On leaving the hotel I utilized the hotel shuttle. On leaving I re-booked for 2 days with instructions that the shuttle pick me up (arrival 10:40 p.m )
on my return and that one of their small heaters be in the room. Neither request was fulfilled. My flight was 15 min late . After waiting outside fo 30 minutes to ask why no shuttle had arrived. Was told that a driver would be found and the shuttle would arrive shortly. I called again and was told to take a cab. After my 25.00 cab ride I arrived, checked in to my room which was 12 C degrees and no heater. I slept 3 hours and checked out.
