Clean, new, well appointed, comfortable. The lobby bar has the BEST staff. If you're in the area for KSC or a launch this place is worth the money due to the decor alone. The roof top Space Bar is great. I love that they have NSF playing on the TV during launches. The parking lot is large and easily accessible.

Pros: • Excellent location for NASA – cross the bridge only • Room was clean. • Staff was outstanding: friendly & welcoming. • Heated pool, pool toys, table tennis. • Nice rooftop bar concept. Cons / why I wouldn’t stay again: • Misleading room ad: The sofa bed is extremely uncomfortable, very short, bends in the middle, and not suitable for an adult or even a child; not for sleeping as ad-ed. • 2 TVs in the room but no divider at all (no wall, furniture, or separation), which makes no sense. • Nothing around the hotel — you must drive ~15 minutes for food. • No real food options on-site: Pool bar was closed, rooftop bar has nothing kid-friendly. After a long drive with kids, having to drive again for food is very inconvenient. • Breakfast is a disaster: “Cooked-to-order” breakfast had 45+ minute waits, long lines, and frustrated guests. 2 very kind staff members were overwhelmed — this is bad management, not their fault. A simple self-serve breakfast would work much better. Bottom line: Okay hotel, excellent staff, poor management. Studio for 5 is misadvertised, food options are a big NO for families, and breakfast effectively doesn’t exist. I feel bad for the staff who have to compensate for structural issues.

The front desk ladies (one was the director of housekeeping who was checking something and the other was the receptionist) were so helpful and hilarious. The room was clean, smelled great and had a fantastic astronaut nightlight that my kid loved so much, I bought one for him for Christmas! Lots of soft towels, great amenities, a short drive to KSC, Cocoa Beach...but the best part? This wonderful hotel has ZERO traffic. I loved that they are on a fairly private drive where it was easy to get back to the highway.

I honestly cannot understand how this hotel has good reviews at all. From the moment we walked in, the smell was overwhelming and horrendous. It hit us immediately as soon as we entered the hotel and should have been our first red flag. When we got to our room, it somehow got worse. The room was dirty and the bathroom had an active water leak. At that point we went back to the front desk and they did change our room, but unfortunately that did not solve anything. Shortly after settling into the second room, we encountered a cockroach. Not just any cockroach. It was flying and very comfortable, not trying to hide at all. That was the final straw. We did not even last an hour at this hotel. We ended up leaving around midnight and scrambling to find somewhere else to stay because there was absolutely no way we could remain there. The conditions were unacceptable, unsanitary, and shocking for a Marriott property. This was one of the worst hotel experiences we have ever had, and we still cannot get over it. Save yourself the stress and do not stay here. Stay in Orlando instead.
