A little bit out of the way you can go to the popular Mt Takao for about an hour
NishiOgikubo Station is a station between Ogikubo Station at the end of the Marunouchi Subway Line and Kichijoji Station which ranks above the town where you want to live It is gaining popularity as a heavyduty town with shops
There is a 24hour supermarket and convenience store in front of the station which is very safe and you can enjoy walking around the shopping street
