Loved the hotel! Close to the sumo arena, dining and shopping. The elevators get really busy throughout the day, so give yourself some extra time just in case.

If you’re looking for a relatively cheap place, this hotel works, but be warned: the rooms are tiny. It honestly felt closer to a capsule hotel than a standard hotel room. The lobby is nice, but the rooms themselves are just average. The location is decent since it’s close to a train station, which makes getting around Tokyo convenient. That said, the cost of train tickets adds up quickly given where the hotel is situated. Another thing to note is that the elevators can be incredibly slow at times—though that seems to be a common issue in this area. Overall, it’s fine for a budget stay, but don’t expect much beyond the basics.

Booked hotel due to closeness to Kokugikan for Sept. Sumo Basho. Room was very small with no closet. Only hooks on walls. Only two elevators for floors 1-17 and two for floors above 17, with about 50 rooms per floor. Busiest week due to Sumo and they shut down elevators for maintenance. Hotel nickel and dimes you for everything. Cost you to swim in the pool or to have them call a cab for you. Had to do laundry at 3 AM just to find open machines. Housekeeping was good and changed towels daily. Lawson's on 2nd floor was good for food/drinks at all hours. Easy walk to train station.

It’s a perfect spot to stay for exploring Tokyo. The station is super close and can get you anywhere in no time. And there’s an Irish pub close by too.

Great Value

Loved the modernity of this hotel and its embrace of technology! I checked in without having to speak to anyone. Did it simply by going to a kiosk in the lobby. Loved that right around the corner from the hotel are several places to eat!! Food spots everywhere with GOOD FOOD!! Also short walk to the metro station. Hotel is a bit far from central Tokyo (Shubuya Crossing etc) but it's close to the metro so that made it easier to get around. The room is VERY SMALL but for the price, amenities and location, IT'S WORTH IT! I also loved that I could mirror my phone to the TV in the room and watch content from my phone on the tv. I would def stay here again. Great value
