This was a great property for my price point. Yes the rooms are small, however, they pack everything you need into this small space. Comfortable, quiet rooms and there was always lots of hot water, the beds are comfy and the linens and towels are soft. I had a nice view across the river, I liked it. The elevators do get congested, especially as stated, around check in and out, but, I didn't wait more than 5 mins at any time. It was great having a Lawson's on the second floor and I made use of the convenient laundromat in the basement. The area around the hotel felt very safe, that's important to me as a solo female traveler. It was also very conveniently situated as far as transport options. It was an easy walk to several places and there was an abundance of food/restaurant options within 5-10 mins walk. I would choose to stay here again, thanks for a great stay!

Best hotel to stay at for anytime your in Tokyo, 2 stops from akihabara and 4 from Tokyo main station. Been here a few times now and it’s the best bang for your buck you can get. Lawson’s ON SITE. Bath is great and the staff is incredible

Elevator takes very long to wait when crowed. The higher level you stay, the longer you have to wait. And only one elevator will be assign to your floor even other elevators will pass your floor, they won't stop at your floor and pick you up, they will just pass. Room's humidity is very low. You feel very dry in the room.

The APA Hotel in Ryogoku is close to a several transit lines, yet also has some frequently visited areas within walking distance. The staff were very accommodating and friendly. Food options may be found at the hotel, but there are many options just outside as well.
