If you want convenience, the hotel is close to everything, shop, dine, close to JR and subway station. Be aware the rooms are very tiny. You can't open a suitcase in the room if you stay as a couple. You can't even sit comfortably at the bathroom without your knees touching the bathroom door. The area at night is not too safe. Lots of drunk people sitting outside 7 Eleven right next to the hotel.

Completely unclean / unsanitary - would not recc

Unfortunately the cleaning leaves a lot to be desired. Upon checking in, we discovered long dark hairs in the bathroom (we are both blonde), the carpet (particularly side nearest the window) had a lot of dirt, fluff and crumbs and the icing on the cake was the baby cockroach on the carpet, the morning that we left. We were advised the day before that electrics would be off between midday to 2pm on Weds 7th however this seemed to drag on until later, we went out early as we knew we wouldn’t be able to use room facilities but when we came back there were huge queues for the lifts (which was a regular occurrence particularly as one was out of order the whole time we were there). No compensation offered - in fact on the letter advising about electrics being off it said that you would still have to check out at 10am (much earlier check out than anywhere else we have stayed!). Completely unacceptable - would not recommend especially at the price point we paid.

Compared to the other APA hotels I stayed at during my 3 week Japan trip, this was by far the least favorite. To start, our room had multiple areas that were unclean upon check in, including questionable substances on the curtains and ceiling above the bed. The location of the hotel was OK. The hotel is situated next to a 7/11 that served as a congregating area for people getting absolutely hammered. I am no prude, but these individuals were so inebriated that they were vomiting on the sidewalk and passed out face down on the concrete at all hours of the day. We thought it was a one day thing/ an event of sorts because there were hired security on the street trying to contain it, but this happened for the four nights we stayed at this hotel. Each morning it smelled like urine and vomit as workers cleaned up the area outside the 7/11 (with some people still sleeping it off on cardboard boxes). Besides dealing with that, it was not in a terrible location. It was only an 11 minute walk to the Shinjuku station and there were multiple options for food nearby. The only other issue we had with this hotel was the laundry situation. There was only one washer and dryer in the women’s spa, while there were three washer and dryers in the men’s spa. The dryers did not work well, causing people to put their clothes in for two hours at a time. This made the laundry process extremely unpleasant and take up a great deal of time out of your day.

We did booked twin bed room with 2 beds. and we got only one bed ,very, very small room. very small shower and too deep to go inside. Staff are not much help. Can not give even water bottle only one time we ask. we are not happy with amount we paid for 2 rooms. Breakfast we have to pay $ 20. per day.

While the rooms are small which is typical of Tokyo the hotel was good. There was a lot of noise in a square next to the hotel which had a lot of noise at night.

This hotel was great. The room was small but I really didn’t use the room except for sleeping. The breakfast out of all the hotel I stayed in Japan was probably the best. The onsen was incredible. The location was great. Walking distance to a lot of shops and restaurants and very close to the train station

Room super small. Reminded me of a cruise cabin. However room is clean and had all amenities except for safe. I really like that they had a body disposal cloth. Refrigerator was off and ot cooling. I didn’t like that the receptionist refused to give a second key. I like to keep my room air conditioned, so when i get back to the room it would be decent.
