The rooms were quite comfortable and dining options were pretty good. The inadequate Gym facility and the lack of self laundry options were the cons. The Garden connecting the 3 properties was beautiful, that too at night with great artistic lighting.

A must in Shinagawa

It was a wonderful stay and fairly convenient to the Shinagawa Station. Should have read up on the Prince Hotels in Shinagawa were linked by a shuttle bus. The Hotel grounds and lobby were welcoming, definitely will be my choice for next trip!

We booked one night in a standard triple room and 2 nights in a superior triple room. The superior was basically the same, but smaller. Which we thought was weird. Just a higher floor. They wanted 60,000 yen to use the pool. Which is crazy. Our son was very disappointed. They also will not allow anyone with tattoos to use it. Even if you cover them. Hotel is dated, large and busy. Ok walk to train. 3 stars at best.

I don't know if it is the trend in Japan, but may of the concierge services were self serve. Wanted to get Limo bus service: "here is the link fill it out please" Wanted to send luggage to the airport: "Here are the forms, please fill out" Wanted to make reservations at a resturaunt: They dialed to restaurant and handed me the phone to speak with someone who had no English ability. Came down to meet the bus with my luggage. Had to ask for help with my Bags. Not expected in Japan based on our previous experience. One thing they are good about is reminding us to pay half way though our stay because it was an extended stay.

Hotel is dated, but everything was clean and functioning. Easy access to the Shinagawa train station was the reason I picked this hotel.

This was the worse hotel I ever stayed. We paid almost $300 per night and the bedroom wasn’t clean as expected, tv wasn’t working, and the bell desk didn’t really helped us to bring our luggage upstairs. In addition, we asked for late check out and there wasn’t an option at all. The lobby and the pictures look great, but the rooms are bad.
