Beautiful gardern, wonderful moon and cloud show. Spaciouse room, good service. Breakfast is dispointed, very limited food. Swimming pool costs money, it is the time time we encountered all around the world. Loacation is far away from any atractions.

Room cleaning was almost spotless, but unfortunately the bath had some leftover hair from a previous person (I didn’t ask for them to clean it but I think they would have). Service was great and thorough, or a bit more relaxed, depending on the staff (some staff were younger and less experienced). Everyone was friendly. Amenities were great, facilities were also great. Overall we had an excellent experience at Hotel Chinzanso, which was our first time in Tokyo and in Japan. We found the staff extremely professional, friendly, and helpful. The location is a bit off the beaten path but for us that is a bonus, and travel was easy on the Metro and rail lines. The setting of the garden is especially pleasant, and an oasis from the bustle of a densely populated city.

Great hotel and garden in Tokyo! Beautiful public spaces, large rooms, and a magical garden complement the courteous and cheerful staff who clearly take great pride in where they work. Highly recommend both the Japanese and Western breakfasts. They were great — and there aren’t many options near the hotel. Only suggestion would be to relocate the Sunday brunch. The room that was used during our stay was large and windowless — and felt a little dark compared to the rest of the property.

We had a wonderful stay. We only stayed for one night and wished we were in Tokyo for longer--we would have stayed here for sure. The hotel and the surrounding garden is beautiful. After a busy week in Japan, we thoroughly enjoyed walking through the gardens in the morning before heading to the airport. The gardens host the 'cloud' feature which is amazing to see. Even more importantly, the gardens are home to historic sites from Japan's extensive history. It is clear that the hotel and its staff take immense pride in keeping up with the grounds. The service was immaculate as well. We felt incredibly relaxed and pampered the whole time we were there, and are very thankful to the staff for their professionalism and care. We are already looking forward to our stay the next time we are back in Tokyo.
