The W/D combo in the room was very helpful & convenient, essential toiletries were provided, inc.detergent, they provided the best shampoo/conditioner and body wash (Pola) compared to other 2 hotels we stayed in , their kitchenette had a microwave & a little toaster oven, complete dinnerware & a few cookware/utensils, a mini fridge & a separate freezer; platform beds were ok, we had a separate sitting area where 2 sofa beds are; toilet was in a separate little room; the hotel is in a very convenient area, mostly residential, but very walkable to the subway stations & konbinis; you have to request if you want your room cleaned; overall a comfortable stay; thank you Monday Apart Ueno Shin-okachimachi !!

Room and the entire place was exceptionally clean. The area was convenient to train stations and convenience or grocery stores. The room was very spacious and having an in-unit washer/dryer and kitchenette was a definite plus. Highly recommend.

Very nice hotel and we enjoyed our stay there. The stuff is super friendly. The location is a highlight. You can easily walk to many dining places. Bus and train stations are nearby. The entrance of the room smelled initially, mostly probably due to the bathroom. I turned on the kitchen ventilation fan all the time and the smell was gone. It is weird that the bathroom fan works only if one is inside it. That is way not enough. Lucky that we only had 5 people. Even though they allow 6 persons to stay, that is really a stretch considering the room size.

Staff were very polite and helpful. They spoke great English and were very accommodating. The amenities were very nice and convenient. The location is very good and close to different interesting points of interest. It is also in a quiet area. Public transportation is a close walk.

It is slightly far from the Ueno skyliner station and around 10 minutes walk to the Ueno metro station. Make sure to select the number of guests for the room as it will affect the pricing, and thus was charged extra on the spot. The extra guest was provided bedding at the counter and a thin blanket similar to the ones on the plane. I enjoyed having the laundry/dryer. Take note that it takes at least 3 to 4 hours for the laundry to dry. Overall, it was clean and the kitchen was fully equipped with microwave, oven and stove.

The room is clean and spacious. The bathroom is also spacious. The staff is friendly. The only downside for us is the location because there’s not much family friendly restaurants nearby.

The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is because the room we had was tiny for the 5 of us, we didn’t even have the room to open our luggages. The other thing that annoyed me was the tv, broadcasting Japanese only programs. One or two English speaking channels would be very much appreciated. The staff was helpful and nice.

The rooms are clean but that’s about it. No coffee machine in the rooms. The air conditioning doesn’t work properly . Very hot in the room when it’s 34degC outside. There is no hot water in the shower. Can’t adjust the thermostat in the shower. Only luke warm water coming. I guess this is their way to cool down their cutomers. Do not stay their. .
