Great location, especially if you are coming in tired via NRT. On a quiet street, but close to busy UENO. Safe and staff were friendly and worked with my non-existent Japanese. Be prepared for no frills and a tiny room and you’ll be pleased.

Very small room and hotel looks very old but clean. Very convenient location at 3 minutes walk from Ueno train station. Very good service. Breakfast was included in the room rate.
