The breakfast was great with a nice variety of Japanese and western foods. The bed and blanket were so comfortable. The shower was big with great pressure. Most amazing are the toilets!

Well presented hotel. I stayed on 3 different occasions for total of 8nights over an 11 day period. The hotel kindly held my bags whilst I explored the surrounds. It was a little frustrating that on each new check in, I had to re-fill in my full details, even after I joined as a member on my initial check in. Not the best repeat business processes.

The room was quite small but the queen size bed and pillows were excellent. We then stayed in a much bigger 4 star hotel for a lot more money and the beds were rock hard including the pillows. The air con in the room was quiet and did the job well considering it was over 30 degrees celcius outside. The only downside is that you need to walk over 10 minutes to Shinagawa to get a good selection of food options. The hotel is in a business type suburb with offices and a car delearship around it .

Very clean room. And just steps from the new amazingly beautiful Takanawa Gateway train station. After everything is open in September 2025, the neighborhood will be a little more lively. But I lived the quietness because there were not many people.

Miyako City Tokyo Takanawa was a good stay for us, the only thing is the hotel feels a little dated for what your choices can be. The hotel doesn't really feel suited for leisure travel and more of a business hotel than anything else. Takanawa is basically Shinagawa and surprisingly there's a lot less to do around the neighborhood than you think. However, the positive side is it is walking distance to Shinagawa Station which basically gives access to Metro and Shinkansen.
