Before I share how wonderful this place is, it’s important to note that it is located in the heart of the city. As such, you should expect a lively environment with plenty of foot and vehicle traffic, along with typical city noise that comes with being in a major Japanese city.The home itself is a clean, modern tri-level space with a generous amount of room. For guests with limited mobility, the first floor includes a bedroom and a half bathroom, which is a thoughtful and convenient feature.There are numerous restaurants within a few blocks, a bus stop just two blocks away, and a major train station within easy walking distance. If you need anything in a pinch, there’s also a 7-Eleven just half a block away. For those visiting Japan for the first time—especially Americans—it’s worth noting that 7-Eleven stores in Japan are very different (and far better) than their U.S. counterparts.Our overall experience was fantastic!

Nice and Convenient stay

The place was very nice and clean. The host was very responsive when we had questions. It is located in a quiet area of Sumida City, but just a short 10-minute walk to the Skytree and Oshiage Station to the north, and about the same distance to Kinshichō Station to the south. Also, a 7/11 is just around the corner!
