Ideal Apartment in Cool Neighborhood

Shimokita Stay has been the best VRBO experience I have had in many trips to Tokyo. The cozy apartment is nicely designed and well-equipped; we didn't have to buy anything like we normally do. It's fairly roomy by Tokyo standards, with more closet space than we normally find, and has a lovely, private patio. The host, Mari, is friendly and very responsive. Lastly, Shimo-Kitazawa is one of our favorite neighborhoods in Tokyo. So many restaurants, shops, vintage stores, a big supermarket, and two convenient train lines within a five-minute walk. We were delighted by our four-week stay. We plan to book Shimokita Stay again for two months when we return next year.

Great Shimokita location

The ground floor apartment was just meters to some of Shimokitazawa’s famed vintage stores but tucked away in a quiet spot. Easy walk to the station servicing both the Inokashira and Odakyu lines so easy access the Shibuya, Shinjuku and beyond. Host Mary was most helpful and communication in English was easy. We would stay here again.
