Everywhere clean and adequately equipped, so this small apartment served its basic purpose, hence 2 stars. But only after we were able to get in. It is MISLEADING and DISINGENUOUS to call this place a hotel. A hotel it is NOT. There were signs of a reception on the ground floor but there was no one there. Not at the stated check-in time; not the next day. I had previously sent a request for check-in info via Expedia. No response. Alledgedly, I had been sent an email with arrival instructions. I have searched for this, and I can not find it. Eventually a Japanese friend called a number on the door to resolve how to get into our apartment. Effectively, there was zero communication between the booker and the accommodation provider, and therefore zero service from apart from someone having come and cleaned the apartment prior to our arrival. We had no wifi access either.
