15-20 minutes walk to/from Shinjuku Station. The room does not have a closet but it's still fairly small. There are no bedside outlets and only one USB port. There are good dining options and an excellent bakery

No complaints about the hotel per se but just the following observations… the lobby area can look and feel like a hostel at times and the bathroom reminded me of the style of a cruise ship. Yes, the room is small (of course) but with a little furniture rearrangement, you can comfortably fit 2 big suitcases in and move around. We enjoyed the walk to Shinjuku station as you can go a few different ways and see something new each time. We didn’t try the bakery because we had a favourite place in the park but we did eat at the restaurant and the food was nice and staff very attentive. Oh, one complaint is the bath towels are really thin. Otherwise, I would recommend The Knot to couples and singles.

The check in is chaotic and impersonal. The room is as expected. The service is poor. I was sat next to the front door. As it was 5C it was cold. I asked if I could take a food item to my room, I was told “no!” They said, they realised that the seat at which I was sat was cold.

Great stay near Shinjuku without the chaos. Lots of tourists. Gets really busy at check in and check out. Cool vibe. Not enough seating in lobby, especially at breakfast time. Nice places to eat inside the hotel. Laundry facilities available, but not enough for the number of people staying at the hotel.

The hotel caters mostly to tourists and aims to provide a hipster and ecological atmosphere, but it fails on both counts. Yes, there's a DJ in the lobby on Friday evenings but the rooms are spartan and uninviting. On the ecological front, they change your towels every day whether you want it or not, and they leave new plastic toothbrushes daily even if you haven't touched the ones from previous days. The location is quiet but the area is not very interesting. It wasn't good value for money.

This is a great hotel if you know that you will be a little distant from the Shinjuku Station complex. It has a great vibe, cool restaurant, and is right in front of Shinjuku Chuo Park. My room was relatively spacious, and it had great amenities. I only wish I had utilized more.
