We sit at the edge of the Azabujuban district close to roppongi, Hiroo and Shiba park tokyo tower areas. A strong blend of new and old and west and east, Azabujuban caters to all segment given its high population of expatriates. Your main touring train will be the OEdo line which will take you to various locations within the Tokyo metropolis. The property is parked just 4 minutes from the station and you will have a 35sqm. space that can fit up to 6 people. You will have Amazon Alexa, Amazon prime as starters, a 50 inch TV, a state of the art wifi facility with FTTH capacity, a full kitchen, tea sets, pressure cookers, microwave oven grill, a large refrigerator and IH cooking stand. You will also have a balcony with a tent in which you can choose to stay and relax in during the 3 seasons excluding winter. This was our last stop before going home and we were excited to repack our bags and visit this area. Let’s just say, what we booked was not what we got. Let’s start with the day of our arrival, no communication from the host was had, I sent 2 emails directed to Max and 2 messages via Expedia. Finally a response on how to get into the unit, which was met with a pad lock on the door with 2 codes in case 1 didn’t work. Upon entering the unit we noticed it was not at all what we booked, dirty sheets, floors, broken toilet seat (that I repaired), living room heater didn’t work ( I tried troubleshooting and sending a request for someone to look at, however, yet again there was no response from the host). I spent most of my evening fixing and figuring. The pictures in the booking resembled a clean unit with bunks for kids, this is not the case (see pics). We immediately rebooked another hotel ($850+- CAD loss) out of that facility as I was not about to try to communicate with the host. Besides the fact that you could hear someone walking the streets from 3 floors up was unsettling, the place was cold (1 heater worked) and looked as though someone lived there and left in a hurry. I DO NOT recommend this accommodation and if I could, I would recommend that Expedia remove it from their listings. NOTE: After I made the host aware that we had left the unit, I have yet to hear back from him with an apology, an ounce of remorse or anything. Please avoid this unit.

Wir waren leider insgesamt nicht zufrieden mit unserem Aufenthalt. Schon vor der Anreise gab es Schwierigkeiten, da wir den Türcode trotz mehrfacher Nachfrage erst kurz vor unserer Abreise erhalten haben. Das war ziemlich nervenaufreibend und hat uns sehr verunsichert.Vor Ort war die Wohnung zwar grundsätzlich sauber und das Bett bequem, aber die Möbel wirkten insgesamt abgenutzt und von eher einfacher Qualität. Leider funktionierte keine einzige Uhr, und auch der Fernseher ließ sich nicht bedienen – vermutlich wegen leerer Batterien in der Fernbedienung.Besonders irritierend war, dass auch andere Gäste desselben Anbieters das gleiche Problem mit dem Türcode hatten. Ein Gast stand sogar ohne Zugang vor seiner Unterkunft, was zeigt, dass es hier wohl grundsätzliche Kommunikationsprobleme gibt.Als wäre das nicht genug, tauchte während unseres Aufenthalts noch eine weitere Person auf, die dieselbe Wohnung über eine andere Plattform gebucht hatte. Das war äußerst unangenehm. Beim Checkout kam zudem bereits um 10 Uhr jemand vorbei, obwohl unser Check-out offiziell erst um 11 Uhr war – auch das hat keinen guten Eindruck hinterlassen.Alles in allem haben wir uns leider nicht wirklich willkommen gefühlt. Mit besserer Kommunikation, funktionierender Ausstattung und etwas mehr Organisation könnte die Unterkunft sicherlich einen deutlich besseren Eindruck hinterlassen.
