From check in when the receptionist must've seen my sweaty frazzled visage and let me check in hours early i had a great experience here. The rooms getting made up are via a magnet on door system bur only quibble was I had to empty my bin so had to do the "walk of shame" with all my junk food and alcohol cans to the communal kitchen area lol. Top floors are student residences and muddle floors are hotel. Theres a DJ booth in the front entrance, people always using the lounge place felt very friendly and engaging even though i like to keep to myself and im an older solo travellor. Loved the bathroom, loved the fact you topped up your toiletries downstairs so you didnt waste as much plastic etc. And ROBES!!! Really close to everything on foot and fantastic food options everywhere you looked. Thank you guys I cant wait to come back I usually stay in South but you've converted me to West Shinjuku!!! See you next year xxxx
Great location in the heart of Shinjuku easy to walk everywhere. The room was clean and comfortable, with just the right touches, had a bathtub too! We loved the coffee and juice in the morning, and the lounge area was spacious and relaxing. A perfect spot for a short stay.
I really enjoyed my stay. The location is perfect and pretty close to the Shinjuku station. I love the room, it was clean and a good for one person. Sounds proof was really plus. I will be booking to stay there soon.
The receptionist was accommodating and greeted us warmly, sabi nya Salamat. Feels like 10 mins walk from station. It was really difficult to navigate the way getting out of shinjuku station.
Very convenient location. The room was very clean and new, and the front desk staff were super nice. Highly recommended! There’s a very high chance I’ll stay here again the next time I travel to Tokyo.
Great location, near the train station and the heart of Shinjuku. The lounge area is a great option for a place to step out of the busyness of the city, set up with your laptop for a while etc.
The youthful staff are very helpful and English is the first language for most of them. The hotel is clean. The rooms are relatively large for discount hotels in Tokyo. The 4k TV in the room was top notch and the little refrigerator was very quiet and worked well. The seating/dining area on the check-in floor is excellent and the breakfast items are good. The hotel is in walking distance of almost everything including a short walk from Shinjuku station and Kabukicho and a very short walk to a drug store/convenience store and many restaurants. What was bad: In the hotel room, the bathroom is at a higher level than the rest of the room by about 10 inches, so you have to step up and down every time you enter and exit the bathroom. Also, the bed is too soft for those of us with back issues; I had to sleep kind of on the corner of the mattress to get enough support. In addition, you can hear the road noise and sirens in this busy area of Shinjuku. Finally, during my stay there was a strange man with a Slavic accent on my floor who was switching the "do not disturb" and "please clean my room" notices on hotel room doors.
The hotel is near a lot of restaurants. About 5-10 min walk to train stations. Staff speaks English fluently. Only complaint is that housekeeping did not replenish body wash.
