Cozy riverside 1-bedroom retreat in uptown Maumee!

(We take both STR and LTR!) Take your pick of how to enjoy this unique, tranquil getaway. Located on the beautiful Maumee river, with floor-to-ceiling windows, you might lounge inside and watch the river go by. Or, you might BBQ outside to hear the birds. Head down the backyard hill to a riverview sitting area with a fire pit, or continue a few more steps to Maumee's superb new paved river walk. Five minutes walking gets you to revitalized uptown Maumee, and ten gets you to fabulous Sidecut Park! If it's cold, replace the walk with the in-home gym!

THE SPACE: This one-bedroom, 1,000 sq ft space is the entire ground floor of a 3-story owner-occupied home. It is located on a quiet residential street along the Maumee River. The space has a full kitchen, large and open living area with a smart TV, a full bathroom, a bedroom with a queen-size bed, a long office desk and a dining area. There is a patio area with a table and seating and a BBQ.
You are welcome to use the whole backyard, including a seating area on the backyard hill looking out at the river. There is also a 3-season gym room you are welcome to use in the fall, winter or spring, with weights and a treadmill. The space comes fully furnished, including kitchen utensils, towels and bedding. All you need to bring is your clothes!

SHARED SPACES NOTE: No interaction with the owners is expected. However, we do live on the upper floors of the home and so are usually available as needed. We are a family of three and live pretty quietly, though you will hear our footsteps at times. You might also see us in the yard or when you're coming and going through the garage, or if you use the home gym, as these areas are shared with us.

OPTIONAL CLEANINGS: We offer an optional comprehensive cleaning service during your stay. If you like, we will clean the entire unit, including washing bedding and towels, The price is $120 and can be scheduled as often as you like during your stay (or not at all) at a day/time that works for you. Payment for this is arranged through the owner, separate from the VRBO platform. (Note there is always a cleaning fee paid at checkout, any optional cleanings during your stay do not replace the cleaning at checkout.) Note there is also a washer/dryer for you to use as you like.

This apartment offers its guests a fitness center, barbecue grills, and a garden. The front desk is open around the clock.
