Property was clean and comfortable once the fire was going. It had been raining and the wood was damp and the fire was difficult to start. We were not in a position to purchase dry wood enroute. Leanne purchased some dry wood for us after work that evening.The slow combustion heater was very efficient, warm and cosy. The only issue being that the fan on the heater was somewhat noisey.The property was excellent for children and pets with lots of activities provided and we loved the dog door. The layout was excellent with a quiet, private barbecue area on the rear deck overlooking the bush. Leanne was pleasant, helpful and quick to respond to any issues that we had. We found our stay most relaxing. Especially the evening glass of wine on the rear deck.

Bush Sanctuary in the Trees

Super helpful hosts who were very accomodating to our needs and have clearly worked hard to create a nice gueist house. Property is a little ways out Mansfield and in the trees. Quiet and peaceful.

Beautiful property located in a stunning mountain bushland setting

We loved our stay in this beautiful unique spacious cottage with its wrap-around decks where you can truly relax and immerse yourself in nature. The property has been lovingly renovated by the owners and was well equipped with everything we needed, and we loved the views from every angle of the house looking out into nature. The beds and living areas were large and comfortable. We also loved the warmth and cosiness of the wood fire. Our hosts were kind and generous and truly went out of their way to ensure that we were made feel welcome, comfortable and that we had everything we needed. We very much appreciated the little treats they left behind for us to enjoy…. 😊. We cannot wait to return to this little piece of paradise.
