When I phoned for the shuttle, I was greeted with an old answering machine message referring to the Christmas holidays. Everything else at the hotel was good, the staff courteous and the room clean

The staff were VERY courteous. I was not impressed with the cleanliness of the beds. All I could smell on the pillows was old sweat and the bed just didn’t seem clean. The breakfast to go was a nice touch and the restaurant was really good.

I completed the pre-check in online and still had to wait on the desk staff who took an inordinate amount of time to process my check-in. I should have been able to just present my identification and my credit card and receive my room key. Further to this, the desk staff took my credit card and "tapped" a pre-authorization without informing me prior to doing so. The customer should be the only person placing their card in for payment and "tapping" or inserting their card for any authorization. Another customer arrived at the desk after us, did not complete the pre- check in and were on their way to their room while we remained at the desk waiting on the desk staff member to complete our transaction. Not impressed... the hotel itself was fine.

Great service from start to finish! Pick up at airport was flawless. Check in was efficient. Rooms were clean and well appointed. Breakfast and a shuttle back to the airport was very convenient. Would highly recommend - great value!
