Be wary of property manager

Andrew the property manager very accommodating to rent property and receive our money. We rented property to be within walking distance of hospital for my husband’s daily cancer treatments. Turns out treatment changed from 8 weeks to 6 weeks. I immediately notified Andrew 7 weeks before (April 18/23)when we would be leaving that we would like to cancel the last 2 weeks. Moved in April 24/23 He advised me to contact him through his email phone and not VRBO. He assured me that he would be able be to rent the property almost 100% because of popular summer time, and refund the money. We left the property after 6 weeks June 3/23 (clean and well cared for). I do not know if he re-rented or not but did call for the new wifi password as he said he was “showing”the property Contacted VRBO and was told the manager decision to refund or not, is his discretion. Payment through Visa was made to VRBO. So VRBO policies mean NOTHING. Be very wary!
