Really great experience at Riu. Top notch operation. Breakfast was a bit lacking. Food was good not great. Space crowded. But the rest was fantastic. Comfortable rooms. Staff was professional and very accommodating. Location excellent. Everything was walkable. Just a wonderful hotel all around.

I recently stayed at the RIU Plaza Hotel Toronto for a weekend getaway, and overall it was a very pleasant experience. The hotel’s location is excellent—right in downtown Toronto and within walking distance to major attractions, restaurants, and shopping areas. It made getting around the city very convenient without needing a car. The room was modern, clean, and well-maintained, with comfortable bedding that allowed for a good night’s sleep. Housekeeping did a great job, and the room felt fresh and welcoming throughout our stay. Hotel staff were friendly, professional, and helpful from check-in to check-out. They were attentive and quick to assist with any questions we had, which added to the positive experience. Breakfast was a highlight, offering a wide variety of options to suit different tastes. The dining area was clean and well-organized, even during busy hours. Overall, RIU Plaza Hotel Toronto is a great choice for a weekend stay. It offers comfort, excellent service, and a prime location. I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Toronto and would consider staying here again.
