This is a great concept. Units are nicely decorated and clean. However, the check in & communication system is terrible. The communication from the property after booking was completely inaccurate. We were asked to send our ID by email, but don't even know if anyone received it or how it was being used. This is a security concern for us. The booking response email from the property could have made it much easier for us to check in if it was clear and accurate. Our room was the one right next to the arcade, so some noise and vibrations come through the wall (does end at 10pm though). We had some people walking around outside our door, taking selfies which made us a little uneasy - is there security on site?? No one answered the phone when we called the property. The one person we finally found in the arcade was very helpful but overwhelmed and busy with arcade business. The heat in our room didn't work (thermostat is locked with a key), so we spent the night at 15 degree celsius - FREEZING. We didn't feel there was anyone we could call to help us out. This place could be great with some easy communication improvements.

The house looked new, interesting layout and fairy clean except for dirty dishes in dishwasher. Kitchen was lacking dishes, silverwear and cooking utensils for a family 4. There were 2 mugs, no drinking glasses, 1 serving spoon, no plates, no dishwasher soap, no dish soap, not enough washcloths,no garbage pails only recycling pails,no instructions how to work TV or thermostat. Dead batteries in remote.In the second bedroom there was no end table or any table to put eyeglasses on or phones. And the door transition lip was about 2 or so inches high, which made a tripping hazard.

Our stay was great, location is close to everything, view was amazing. Building staff was helpful, apartment had appliances available to use, rooms were mostly clean, however there were a lot of stains on the couch and on the dish rack. Elevator service on the property was disappointing, we had to wait about 7-15 min and even longer for an empty elevator (only one working elevator), a heads up on that would’ve been appreciated. We were told by residents that it’s been an issue for about a year. Not convenient to take stairs when you have little kids/stroller

Property location is hard to find. "Front desk" is located inside the arcade for the apartment building and the front desk for the apartment building didnt know what i was talking about when I mentioned Meadowvale Apartment Hotel. The room itself was disgusting. Floors had dirt and hair all over. The beds were dirty and had hair on pillow cases and linens. And that wasnt even the worse part of the room. There was no heat and no hot water and there was no maintenance professional to fix the issues.

The air conditioning had been left on at a very low temperature, and the thermostat was locked. A quick walk to the office got it unlocked for the evening. Very responsive fold at the front desk.

Oh lawd, can I even send a photo in this review? Idk but communication is the worst, if it isnt bad, it is worst. Was nervous they would scam me of my money when I tried to msg and call them for how to check in. And because of all the previews reviews I was able to find how to check in. But I shouldn’t have to do that though. Pathetic way to check in imo, there is a not so visible sign at the arcade to go to circle-k to get your key, and so I went to circle k and was told to go back to the arcade. Alright sounds super stupid but I had to check in. Got my key, room was extra cold - even santa would be shivering here. Bed was dirty like a container you couldn’t wash off the pasta sauces out. The blanket look like it had some doodoo stains in it and when you lift the sheets, period blood stains where dried out. Oh to add to the doodoo stains, in the crevices of the blanket are lil pellets of what looks like dried poo from rats. Nasty, anyways we chose this place cuz of the kitchen but how am I spose to cook if the only thing that was there are two non-stick pots clearly been disrespected by previous tenants. Idk how people become animals, I thought humans are the most intelligent, clearly not. So then we look at the sorry looking utensils and it literally is just a spoon and fork. I was crying of laughter for how pathetic it looks. Please just go to 404 steeles flea market. They sell 0.99$ utensils. All in all, decent place but also not.

No dishes because they were all in the dishwasher and it hadn’t been started. There was no detergent either, which is maybe why they hadn’t started the dishwasher? It smelled rly bad in there. No cups. I got an email saying I needed to download an app and send my id but when I called the receptionist had no idea what I was talking about. Overall it was kind of a chaotic experience and I wasn’t sure we’d even get into our accommodation that night. Better communication (without having to call or send info to a random email) would have been appreciated.

Easy to find, quiet and comfortable.

Difficult to contact by phone. App for digital key did not work. Not near enough bathroom linens for a 4 night stay. 2bath towels, 2 facecloths and 1 hand towel. Kitchen needs a toaster, basic cutlery and dishes, and cup towels and washing cloths, and a bit of dish soap. Pleasant and helpful staff. Lovely quiet area. Convenience store very close nearby and open 24/7. Allowed us late check out which was appreciated.
