there was a bag of trash just sitting in the hallway, the carpets didn’t look vacuumed at all, the walls were splattered with ???, the lock on the door looked like someone had kicked it in, the walls were damaged, the doors were damaged, there was what looked like black mold on the ceiling in the bathroom, the tub was damaged, there was hair in the tub, just walking into the building it didn’t smell clean. the worst part was the climate control in the room. idk if it’s a heater or what, but it was SO LOUD. there were low-flying airplanes above us that made less noise. this thing would be on for about 5-10 minutes, turn off for about 15 seconds, then turn back on. it was so loud we could barely hear each other talking in a normal voice. we were booked for 4 days and had a new hotel booked before the night ended or canceling the rest of our stay. we didn’t even care if we were refunded or not, we just wanted out, it was that bad.

We did not have high expectations as we were just staying one night before our flight. However, when we arrived our room smelled strongly of aftershave/cologne, which was pretty gross. There was also air conditioning blasting, even though it was -20 outside, so we had to hang out in our winter coats while we waited for the room to heat up. Breakfast seemed ok and the airport shuttle was on time.

Bedroom carpet was not vacuumed, cookie and other food pieces on the floor and desk. Dirty around the edges. Carpet was undulated and I tripped on it. Bathroom shower only had half the water come from the showerhead the rest was flowing from the faucet. A hole in the wall. Armchair was dirty and I wouldn't sit in it. Office chair was all torn and looked like it was from the dump. Hallway had holes in the walls, torn carpeting, broken flooring, and lights crooked. Soap holder in the bathtub was filthy. Prostitute in the hallway. Breakfast meat cover was shattered so temperature would stay maintained.

The man at the front desk was exceptionally rude on check in. We had called to ask for airport shuttle, the only reason I booked this hotel, and we were told approximately 1.5-2h wait to be picked up. We were not asked for our name or number, and called from another number after about 25 minutes. Again, we were not asked for any of our information. After a six hour flight we found this unacceptable and ordered an uber. Upon check in, I inquired if they would refund this uber as they advertise shuttle service, and he got exceptionally defensive immediately, yelling at myself and the people I was with that we never called, they never had our number or name on file. We showed him our call history to prove that we did in fact call for a shuttle, and he continued to be dismissive and exceptionally rude. We understand that shuttles can be busy, but that is a ridiculous wait time and should not have happened. We completed our check in and the room was fine. Beds were hard but good enough to sleep on for one night. Breakfast was okay, but not anything special. Coffee machine didn’t work at the breakfast. We were just very disappointed with how we were treated upon check in for asking a simple question. Will not be using this hotel again.

The shower had hair in it when I went to have a shower. There was also long black hair on the comforter on the bed. The person who checked us in in the evening smelled very strongly of alcohol, and took a very long time checking us in as he kept chatting about his other job
