Location is great, a few minutes walk to union train station, CN tower, great views of downtown and the skyscrapers.
However the fallback is the quality of the apartment and service from the host.
When we called the concierge phone number, no one ever answers the phone at all. There is no telephone support! Terrible!
On our Expedia reservation it was written the address 12 York. That is where we picked up the key. But the key did not work there. Later the host wrote us to go to another address 14 York. The key worked then. This was not clear and was stressful for us!
Also, our room did not look like the photo on our confirmation order from Expedia. We ordered a premiere room , but this does not feel or look like a premiere room, the quality and lack of upkeep and cleanliness and many other issues is unacceptable.
- Out of order Fridge & Freezer
- Missing blinds on the curtains
- Someone left wash in the washing machine
- There was no dishwasher detergent
- No hooks to hang towels
- Microwave numbers worn off
- Bathroom vent dirty & black
- Water kettle dirty & disgusting
- Oven is dirty & not clean
- Pillows for sleeping were flat as a pancake and cheap.
This was a bad experience overall for the money we paid for our stay. The apartment is used and not maintained.
We asked for a fair partial refund, but they only offered a refund of the cleaning fee. And that has nothing to do with the rest of the problems and short comings.
