The rooms are generously sized and the bed and shower were both great. My room was on the third floor and there's no elevator. The system they have where you contact Reception through WhatsApp doesn't seem to be reliable, try and get the direct number to text/call. The young woman at reception was very apologetic and tried to take good care of me. I like the idea of a record player in the room but mine didn't work. There is no TV. The room was lovely and quiet but did look straight into someone's kitchen next door. The area is kind of student-y with Uni of Toronto very close. Walking distance to the subway and the Royal Ontario Museum.

Great staff saved it from a lower rating. They were awesome and appreciated their help, but would not stay here again. I feel like it was a cheaply done "cool" remodel that has not been maintained and is in need of a refresh. It felt dingy and everything was a little worn or off. My toilet was not cleaned, like brown splatters kinda not clean, and they immediately moved me and handled it well, but still - doesn't give you a good feeling. Also, maybe they put me in the worst room, but there was a water bubble and hole in the ceiling, a broken blind, stains all on the wall, all the artwork frames were bent or broken, and general griminess that I don't want. Despite good staff, wont ever go back.

Super quaint boutique hotel. Funky rooms with exposed brick walls. Love the cafe and restaurant right on site. Subway station a couple blocks away. Will definitely stay here again.

Great stay in off-beat location

A very boutique experience. Clean, and well appointed. Comfortable platform bed with large shower/wet bath space. Lobby is intimate with helpful,friendly staff.

The location is good, but the Hotel is very noisy. Around 5pm to 11 pm, there was a continuous music playing under our room ang the boom boom of the base was very annoying. They must know this is a problem because they give you earplugs but these do not help. Other than that, an adequate stay.
