Nightingales is a listed building that has been converted into a modern home. This home is beautifully furnished with Super King and king size or single beds in the bedrooms. Large sash windows fill the rooms with light. Nightingales is within walking distance to Torquay Town (5 min walk) a walk through the town will bring you to the harbour side which is full of restaurants, bars and cafes. Historic St Mary Church is a 15 minute walk, We are dog friendly and have ample space for 4 adults.
The space
Nightingales is a converted listed building.
Via your private entrance you come into the entrance hall and then the kitchen. The kitchen is modern with a table and chairs to sit 4 people. The kitchen is fitted with a fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, oven and induction hob. There is also a microwave, toaster and kettle.
We welcome dogs but this is restricted to two large dogs (Spaniel size or bigger)or three small dogs. Dogs are to be kept within the kitchen and welcome hall which are wooden floors and are NOT to be left in the property alone.
The lounge, a toilet and downstairs bedroom are on the ground floor. The lounge has a 40" smart TV, two sofas, foot stool and nest of tables.
The downstairs bedroom has a king size bed and patio doors on to the small courtyard. Smart TV, cupboard, two bed side tables, hair dryer and vanity mirror.
Upstairs is another bedroom with a super king size bed, this bed can also be set up as a twin. There is a smart TV, cupboard, hair dryer and vanity mirror.
The bathroom upstairs has a bath with a shower. The shower is over the bath.
The second bedroom on the floor plan is the owner's bedroom, although the owner will not be there during the stay we keep this room private.
Although we have Wi-Fi through out the house there is not a landline telephone.
Guest access
There is onsite free parking for one car, the surrounding roads are free to park on if you are bringing two cars.
Other things to note
Due to Covid 19 we have had to increase our cleaning fee, our cleaning team will now clean and sanitise the house between guest stays.
