The fellow at the front desk was flat out rude to me when I questioned the additional dog fee. I wasn't irritated until he smart mouthed and threatened to charge me double because I questioned him. The next day the same man was flip with me over fixing my TV, which never worked the whole time we were there. The room smelled like animal mess. My own dogs, 12 pound dachshunds are the very well trained and didn't mess in the room. When I asked for clarification, the young man at the front desk laughed at me, and was rude. We ended up leaving a day early. I'll never stay in a Holiday Inn Express again. We nearly paid more for our dogs to stay there than for us.

Room was nice and clean. Breakfast was decent. Morning front desk staff were very nice and helpful, the check in guy had little to say and little clue. Did not do the normal talk about where things were and what times the open and close. The pool had no towels available any of the nights we visited. The first time we noticed to late, the next night we checked first and went back to the room instead.
