This large (65sqm) apartment is on the ground floor. It consists of a living room with 2 single divan beds, dining area, kitchenette (stove, fridge, toaster, coffee machine, nespresso coffee machine, kettle), a double bedroom with en-suite bathroom fitted with bathtub (and shower rose), a twin bedroom and a bathroom with shower. Overlooks front garden and swimming pool, lovely large, covered veranda.

The resort is located 2 km from the beautiful medieval village of Torrita di Siena, in the heart of the Val di Chiana.

The complex is surrounded by its vineyards and olive groves, as well as by a beautiful, large park. The farmhouse consists of 10 comfortable apartments, all with views of the pool or the countryside, simply furnished, some with terracotta-tiled floors and beamed ceilings. The apartments are either on the ground floor or on the first floor, with their own garden area for outdoor dining. In the garden there is also a grill and pool (open 14x7 mid May - September), whose solarium enjoys a breathtaking view over Torrita of Siena and the surrounding landscape. Laundry room at guest's disposal.

Landhuis in prachtige omgeving met zwembad

Zuid Toscane is heerlijk rustig en een grote ansichtkaart, zo mooi! Het beneden appartement in het landhuis van Giuseppe en Marina is eenvoudig en comfortabel, meer heb je wat ons betreft niet nodig. We hebben lekker ge-BBQt en aten op de veranda. Aanraders zijn Pienza, Cortona en de natuurlijke baden van Castiglione d’Orcia.

L'endroit est superbe, l'extérieur très bien entretenu, la piscine est nickel, l'accueil est excellent. Notre logement, celui face à la piscine avec la terrasse est très pratique. ( Un peu exigu pour un couple avec 4 grands ados). L'accès en voiture est parfait et la région est magnifique. Torrita Di sienna offre des commerces, des bons produits et une ballade dans la vechia cita s'impose. Notre meilleur séjour en Toscane !

wunderschönes Quartier

Wir haben uns in diesem Quartier sehr wohl gefühlt. Ein altes Steinhaus mit schönem Ambiente. Der große Pool wurde jeden Tag sorgfältig gereinigt und durch frisches Wasser gekühlt und war dadurch auch im Hochsommer noch angenehm zum Schwimmen. Man ist in relativer Nähe zur Stadt Torrita di Siena und gleichzeitig auf einem wirklich schönen, ruhigen Platz umrandet von Feldern und Hügeln. Die Aussicht ist wunderschön. Wir hatten die Wohnung im Erdgeschoß mit überdachter Terrasse und waren über diese Entscheidung sehr froh. Auf der großen Terrasse ist es möglich auch sehr heiße Tage gemütlich im Schatten zu verbringen und die Aussicht zu genießen. Moskitoschutz ist empfehlenswert. Direkt vom Haus aus kann man entlang einer Feldstraße in der Natur joggen. Wir wurden freundlichst empfangen und die sehr sympahtischen und hilfsbereiten Besitzer haben uns in allen Fragen unterstützt, seien es Empfehlung bezüglich Urlaubsgestaltung oder Problemen die aufgetreten sind, wie z.B. Erkrankung. Sie haben für uns einen Arzt kontaktiert, der unseren Sohn mit Hausbesuch sehr freundlich und kompetent versorgt hat. Trotz einiger anderer Gäste im Haus war genug Platz für alle und insgesamt eine ruhige, angenehme Atmosphäre. Jederzeit wieder! Wir haben es sehr genossen und unsere Erwartungen waren mehr als erfüllt.

Idylischer geht es nicht!

Sehr schöne, einfach eingerichtete, alte Hausanlage im typisch toskanischen Stil. Wir hatten die Wohnung im EG mit Terrasse zum Pool, worüber wir sehr froh waren. Aufgrund der hogen Aussentemperaturen ist die Überdachung wichtig. Zu Fuss ist in der Umgebung nicht viel erreichbar, man ist auf das Auto angewiesen. Typische toscanische Städte sind gut erreichbar. Der Pool ist wunderschön gelegen und wird täglich gepflegt von den sehr netten Vermietern. Die Anlage war voll belegt, dennoch hatten alle Platz, es war nicht laut oder zu voll. Lästig sind die Mücken, Vorsorge wird dringend empfohlen.

Tranquil location, close to numerous attractions

We returned for a 5th stay at this apartment to a very warm welcome from Marina and the family. The location is very peaceful, yet the major attractions of the Val d'Orcia and Val di Chiana are a short drive away. This area is a photographer's paradise, and the freedom of self catering permits early starts or late finishes, without worrying about getting back in time to catch set meal times. Torrita di Siena is within a few minutes drive and offers a good supermarket and other shops, plus a weekly market, and railway station allowing access to the whole of Italy via connecting stations, although a car makes life much easier. We hope to return again next year, and for several more after that!! Alla prossima.

Traditional Tuscan farmhouse with scenic views

This is our fourth stay at this family-run property over the past few years. The apartment is always clean and tidy, with new mattresses bought for the beds recently. The family are very friendly, and ready to welcome guests. The location is tranquil, being set in the countryside, just a kilometre away from the centre of Torrita di Siena. The property is within 30 minutes of the towns of Montepulciano, Pienza and Cortona as well as the stunning countryside of the Val di Chiana and Val d'Orcia. Siena is just over an hour away by car, so this apartment is very close and accessible to the main attractions of this region. We look forward to a swift return.
